The Danish Packaging Industry – or “EmballageIndustrien” – constitutes the Danish confederation of packaging producers. The association is a member of the Confederation of Danish Industries.

The Danish Packaging Industry encompass packaging producers designing and manufacturing  corrugated boxes, solid board packaging, folding cartons, envelopes, flexible packaging or laminates and metal containers.

The mission of the association is to communicate and provide consulting services to the member companies regarding all aspects of the regulatory demands and legal obligations associated with the production and promotion of packaging to the EU-market.

The organization supplies educational services and provides social security options for production workers of the members companies.

The core competences of the confederation are knowledge on the regulatory aspects of producing packaging to meet modern standards and demands for environmentally sound products in compliance with consumer safety regulations.

The organization provides a basic framework for promoting productivity and flexibility in the industry in order to facilitate, that members companies can sustain and develop a competitive edge on the market for packaging products.

The Danish Packaging Industry is a member of and in close cooperation with the Brussels based associations serving the European packaging industry.
